Retrovibe Toaster Bass Pickup


Specially made with 4-wires and shield so they offer unrivalled versatility with the option of isolating (tapping) the individual coils or wiring the pickup as a series or parallel humbucker. As far as I know these are the only 4-wire Toaster pickups available in the UK at present!


Each coil has an impedance of 5.8 K giving a serial impedance of 11.6 K.

The outer casing measures 89mm x 37mm.

Inner pickup casing measures 72mm x 23mm.

The pickup is approximately 15mm deep.

Screwhole centres are 82mm apart.


Suitable for surface mounting or within a pickguard and will work well in the bridge or neck position on a guitar or bass

Vertical pole spacing is 19mm

The pickup is approximately 25mm deep.

Impedance is 10.75 Kohms

Each coil has an impedance of 5.7 K giving a serial impedance of 11.4 K.

The chrome surround measures 94mm x 43mm and comes with all necessary mounting screws.

Inner pickup casing measures 72mm x 33mm.

The pickup is approximately 22mm deep.

Screwhole centres are 83mm apart.

Pole spacing is 15mm.


The adjustable pole pieces allow you to raise and lower individual poles to dial in your desired string response. This feature even allows you to compensate when your actual string spacing is slightly wider or narrow than the 15mm pole pieces.
